The following terms and conditions specify the rules and regulations for the use of the Tail Travel website located at https://tailtravel.com.au/. By using this website Tail Travel assumes that you accept these terms and conditions in full. Do not continue to use https://tailtravel.com.au/ if you do not comply with all the terms and conditions stated on this page.
The terminology used henceforth applies to these Terms and Conditions: "Client", "You" and "Your", "Owner", refers to you, the person using this website or seeking transportation for an animal and compliant to the Company's terms and conditions. "The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us", refers to our Company- Tail Travel. All terms refer to the offer, acceptance and consideration of payment necessary to undertake the process of our assistance to the owner in the most appropriate manner for the express purpose of meeting the owner's needs in respect of the provision of the Company's stated services, following and subject to, prevailing law of Australia. Any use of the above terminology or other words in the singular, plural, capitalization and/or he/she or they, are taken as interchangeable and therefore as referring to same.
The Important Stuff
Risk of Transport
Tail Travel takes pride in transporting your pets and will do so with the intention of reducing the stress level to your animal above all.
In saying that all animal transport consists of moving an animal out of an area where it is comfortable to unfamiliar surroundings via a method the animal is probably not used too, and this transport can cause extra stress on your animal.
Some animals deal better with stress than others, but no transport is without risk and as the person requesting transportation you must realise this and accept the risk associated with transporting your pet.
We operate under a set of standards called the International Animal Transport Association. This is a standard set for all animal transportation, and we adhere to their policy which reduces the risk to your animal during transport. We also can provide our own knowledge from the years of pet travel to assist with further reducing the risk.
Pet Transportation Terms and Conditions
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. If you do not understand any conditions please seek advice.
To seek assistance from Tail Travel make a booking with Tail Travel you MUST:
- Agree to our terms and conditions in full.
- You must be the age of 18 years or older to make a booking with Tail Travel.
- It is assumed that you have read and agreed to Tail Travels Terms and conditions by agreeing to do any of the following:
Request a Tail Travel member to make a booking from us on the website www.tailtravel.com.au, tailtravel.au, our Tail Travel Facebook site, messenger, Instagram or via phone by text message or call.
Requesting that an animal be transported in any way via us or another transport company we choose to transport your animal.
You must not make any booking unless you are 18 years of age or older and understand and agree with the following terms and conditions. The terms and conditions apply to bookings you make with Tail Travel consultants or representatives in-person, over the phone, by email, or through the website. Please read the entire document carefully.
Tail Travel Obligations To You
1.1 Services
(a) Tail Travel shall provide and execute the Services on the specified Transportation Date and Time, to the Transportation Destination using the Transportation Carrier, or as otherwise determined. At times we may need to contract the transport of your animal to another company.
(b) The Pet Owner may request for required Services concerning the pet by either contacting Tail Travel through telephone, email, or through the official website. Quotes obtained from Tail Travel's official website are not binding and the applicable Fee shall be confirmed by Tail Travel before payment is charged to the owner's credit card.
(c) A booking for Services shall be considered confirmed only after the payment of the Fee and/or acknowledgement and acceptance of the Quotation.
(d) All payments must be made in full within 48 hours prior to the estimated transport.
(e) Tail Travel retains the complete right to refuse the provision of services to any Owner for any reason, whether before or during the provision of the Services.
Tail Travels Guarantees a Professional standard of care
Tail Travel believes in providing ultimate quality services to every one of our clients. All range of services will be executed diligently and professionally, ensuring that the highest standards of skill and care are implemented.
In the event of a defect in the performance of the Services provided by Tail Travel, then Tail Travel will remedy the defect or re-do the Services at no additional cost to the Pet Owner. This remedy or re-do of service does not include circumstances that are out of Tail Travels control.
What Tail Travel requires of you as the person agreeing to the transport
Prior to Travel
1.5 Selection of Transportation Carrier
(a) The Pet Owner shall request the Transportation Date and Time, the Transport Destination and can also request the Transportation Carrier for the required services. These details will be confirmed by a Tail Travel member via email or phone.
(b) The Pet Owner may select a Transportation Carrier and Transportation Date and Time for the Services, based on the availability of such Transportation Carriers, as advised by Tail Travel to the owner at the time of the booking for Services being made.
(c) Tail Travel will always attempt to assist with the wishes of the person requesting transport but reserves the right to change the preferred choice of the Transportation Carrier or Transportation Date and Time at full discretion. The change will be made based on the availability of Transportation Carriers. We will ensure that the change shall not affect the delivery of the pet in substance.
(d) Tail Travel shall inform the owner of any changes to the Transportation Carrier, Date and Time before the Animal boarding the Transportation Carrier, wherever possible.
(e) If the Owner is not agreeable to the changes to the Transportation Carrier or Transportation Date and Time, before the Animal boarding the Transportation Carrier, the owner must communicate the same to Tail Travel and Tail Travel will remove the Animal from boarding with the Transportation Carrier until further instructions and communication from the owner. Please be aware that this action may incur a fee.
Getting the animal to us or the airline
(a) As the Owner/buyer/seller you must arrange for himself/herself for the delivery of the Pet/animal to the preferred airlines' freight location or make such other arrangements with Tail Travel for the collection of the Animal by Tail Travel or by one of its representatives.
(b) Tail Travel shall not be responsible or liable for any claims concerning the period immediately before Tail Travel takes possession of the Animal. The Pet Owner agrees to indemnify Tail Travel concerning any such Claim.
Personal Information
Tail Travel collects your personal information such as name, phone number, email address, address or licence details and/or your signature only when it has been voluntarily submitted by you, our customer/s (or potential customer/s).
The collected information will be used for respective services, which can include: our website, requesting a quote for the transportation of your pet, booking services on your behalf, request of information for a general enquiry, or request to complete a survey on your customer experience.

If you willingly send us your personal information through email, our official website, to an employee of Tail Travel, on any of our electronic forums or social media handles, we will deem that you have submitted your data voluntarily for our usage and response. Additionally, we may receive your personal information through third parties, which include Airlines, relevant airline operators, government authorities, customs, immigration, industry associations and service partners that are a part of your booking process.
Personal information will be retained if it is required for necessary processing. Post-processing, the personal information will be retained for a certain period to enable us to handle or respond to any complaints, queries, or concerns relating to your booking.
Before sending out any marketing initiatives and communication, you will be asked whether you prefer to opt-in to receive such updates using your personal information. You will also be provided to opt-out of the preference of receiving such updates at any time. Please be aware that Tail Travel occasionally sends marketing communications that promote a third party's products and services of our partners and also of our own.
If you wish to no longer receive marketing communication and related updates, you have a few opt-out options. Each marketing initiative will have an 'unsubscribe' button at the bottom of the email page which will allow you to stop receiving further marketing emails. We aim to stop marketing communications within 14 working days of receiving your cease request. Hence, please be aware of the possibility of receiving marketing material within the said period, until the change will be made. You can also contact Tail Travel at enquiries@tailtravel.com.au and submit a request in writing for the same.
Shared Information
As a booking agent for several airlines it is important to understand that we have to share your details with various other companies.
To make a booking with any of our preferred airlines then we are required to enter the senders and receivers personal details. In certain instances, we may share your personal information with government agencies or any other third-party suppliers that are assisting us to complete any stage of the transportation process of your pet. The information provided will be the personal information you have willingly submitted. Only when there is a legitimate reason for the use of your data, it will be shared and/or used.
We may supply personal information when the law of state within Australia requires us to do so and take a strong stance on wildlife smuggling. We will cooperate with authorities to the fullest where there is a suspicion of animal smuggling, native animals transported without permits or any other offence under the wildlife act of each state.
We may also use other businesses to perform certain services for us, such as maintaining our site and our email services and processing inquiries. Personal information gathered will be submitted to the businesses when the information is necessary for either completing a transaction or for performing their duties.
We will not sell or share your personal information with any unaffiliated third parties for marketing purposes that we do not have a legal or official contract.
Collective Data
Occasionally, we may collect statistical and non-personal information about the use of our website. This information may include how many visitors have visited a specific page on the site, how long they have spent on the site, the hyperlinks they have clicked on, and likewise. Such information is collected to determine the areas that are most popular and also to review which sections of the site need to be enhanced to ensure a better online experience for our visitors. This collective data may be used to describe the use of our site to third parties or in response to a government request. However, this data will not personally identify you or anyone of our website visitors.
YOUR PRIVACY
Tail Travel is fully committed to protecting your privacy as an online visitor to our website. As already stated, all personal information collected from you will be solely utilized for the provision of our services. Tail Travel completely respects the privacy and confidentiality of the information provided by you and adheres to the Australian Privacy Principles.
You may edit or update your details at any time by advising us of the same in writing via email. All information received by Tail Travel will be protected by our secure server. We use a secure server software that encrypts all customer information before it is sent to us. Additionally, all customer data collected by Tail Travel is secured against unauthorized use or access. Credit card information provided by our clients at the time of the service booking will not be stored by us on our servers.

Cookies allow a website to customize its configuration according to your needs and browsing preferences. Cookies do not access information stored on your computer or any personal information (e.g. name, address, email address, or telephone number). Most web browsers automatically accept cookies. Pet Transportation Terms and Conditions

Tail Travel Obligations

1.2 Professional standard of care
Tail Travel believes in providing ultimate quality services to every one of our clients. All range of services will be executed diligently and professionally, ensuring that the highest standards of skill and care are implemented.
1.3 Defective performance
In the event of a defect in the performance of the Services, Tail Travel will remedy the defect or re-do the Services at no additional cost to the Pet Owner.
1.4 Delivery of Animal to Tail Travel
(a) The Owner shall arrange for himself/herself for the delivery of the Pet to Tail Travel's office or the preferred airlines' freight location, or make such other arrangements with Tail Travel for the collection of the Animal by Tail Travel or by one of its representatives.
(b) Tail Travel shall not be responsible or liable for any claims concerning the period immediately before Tail Travel takes possession of the Animal. The Pet Owner agrees to indemnify Tail Travel concerning any such Claim.
1.5 Selection of Transportation Carrier
(a) The Pet Owner shall request the Transportation Date and Time, the Transport Destination and can also request the Transportation Carrier for the required services. These details will be confirmed by a Tail Travel member via email or phone.
(b) The Pet Owner may select a Transportation Carrier and Transportation Date and Time for the Services, based on the availability of such Transportation Carriers, as advised by Tail Travel to the owner at the time of the booking for Services being made.
(c) Tail Travel reserves the right to change the preferred choice of the Transportation Carrier or Transportation Date and Time at full discretion. The change will be made on the basis of the availability of Transportation Carriers. We will ensure that the change shall not affect the delivery of the pet in substance.
(d) Tail Travel shall inform the owner of any changes to the Transportation Carrier, Date and Time before the Animal boarding the Transportation Carrier, wherever possible.
(e) If the Owner is not agreeable to the changes to the Transportation Carrier or Transportation Date and Time, before the Animal boarding the Transportation Carrier, the owner must communicate the same to Tail Travel and Tail Travel will remove the Animal from boarding with the Transportation Carrier until further instructions and communication from the owner. Please be aware that this action may incur a part fee or full fee if this travel is unable to be changed to a different date.
1.6 Compliance with Transportation Carrier policies
By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions, the Pet Owner acknowledges that all the Services provided by Tail Travel is subject to the prescribed terms and conditions and by the entering of this Agreement, the owner willingly agrees to be bound by such terms, which may be amended or updated from time to time.
1.7 Missed Flights/Connections
(a) If a flight or connection is missed or cancelled, or for any other reason, the selected Transportation Date and Time for provision of the Services cannot be fulfilled, Tail Travel shall do all things necessary to arrange the next available transport of the Animal to the Destination on similar terms. If the flight is missed by the customer Tail Travel may be charged the full amount of transport (even if the animal did not travel) and if this flight can not be changed to a different date the amount paid by the owner will be forfeited.
(b) Any costs incurred concerning the rebooking of transportation, inclusive of any requisite Kennel Boarding costs, shall be borne by the owner unless such delay is directly caused by Tail Travel.
(c) The owner irrevocably authorises Tail Travel to deduct the cost of additional services incurred by Tail Travel or its representatives under this clause and any related costs from the credit card details provided to Tail Travel at the time of the services being booked.
1.8 Assignment of Service performance
(a) Tail Travel may assign and/or subcontract any part of the services at their discretion.
(b) The owner acknowledges and agrees that the physical possession and care of the animal will be with the Transportation Carrier during part of the period in which the Services are provided. The owner further agrees that any claim arising concerning this period of possession shall be solely between the owner and the Transportation Carrier and the owner indemnifies Tail Travel while making such claims.
1.9 QUOTATIONS
(a) All Quotations provided are valid for 30 days from the date of quotation.
(b) Quotes maybe dishonored by Tail Travel if the service provider increases their rates or service charges.
2. OWNER'S OBLIGATIONS
2.1 By making a booking, you are identifying that you are 18 years of age or older and understand and agree with these terms and conditions.
2.2 Making a booking is described as agreeing to the transport of the animal verbally or via writing (text message, faxmail, letter or email) or making a deposit of money into Tail Travel account, making payment or part payment for any service using any form of payment.
2.3 The Owner agrees that he/she represents the animal and also that it is the property of the owner. The owner has the right to make contract with Tail Travel concerning the requested services.
2.4 The Owner must provide two emergency contacts details to Tail Travel while making a booking with us.
2.5 The Owner must ensure that the emergency contact will be available for communication at all times during the period of animal transportation. Failure to be contactable by Tail Travel at any time shall be considered a breach of the Service Agreement. Further action taken and the direct and indirect costs incurred by Tail Travel as a result of Tail Travel's inability to contact the owner shall be deemed to not be a breach of the Agreement in any respect. The owner willingly agrees to the operation of this clause and shall fully indemnify Tail Travel concerning all matters of the execution of this clause.
2.6 The Owner should ensure that the Animal is properly crated for transport and complies with the requirements of the Transportation Carrier. If the Animal is improperly crated, the owner authorises Tail Travel to re-crate the Animal in a manner compliant with the regulations of the Transportation Carrier. The owner irrevocably authorises Tail Travel to deduct the cost for re-crating the Animal, including Tail Travel's time and the costs of a new crate, from the credit card details provided to Tail Travel at the time of the booking of the Services.
2.7 The Owner shall ensure that all things are signed to ensure that the Services can be provided by Tail Travel. This includes, but is not limited to:
(a) The owner shall be responsible for obtaining all the licenses or permits required to own or transport or collect the Animal at either end of the Transportation Destination;
(b) Ensuring that the inside of the Animal crate is clean of faeces. If inside of the crate requires cleaning before boarding with the Transport Carrier or during the period in which Tail Travel or its agents possess the Animal, Tail Travel may, at its discretion, charge a fee to the owner for cleaning the crate.
2.8 During the event when the owner directly delivers the Animal to the Transportation Carrier to execute the requested services from Tail Travel, the owner must provide an emergency contact telephone number to the Transportation Carrier. If the Transportation Carrier requests Tail Travel to be called to a certain location, Tail Travel may, in its absolute discretion, elect to charge the owner a call-out fee.
2.9 The Owner agrees that in addition to the terms of this Agreement, the owner is bound by the service terms of any applicable Transportation Carrier as a part of the provision of the services.
2.10 The Owner indemnifies Tail Travel concerning any sums or liability incurred by Tail Travel concerning the Services, or variations to the Services as set out in the Service Agreement.
2.11 The Owner irrevocably agrees that all amounts payable to Tail Travel may be deducted from the credit card details provided to Tail Travel at the time of booking the services, without any prior intimidation to the owner.
3. EXCLUSIONS
Following are the exclusions that Tail Travel is entitled to:
3.1 All Claims concerning the refusal by a Transportation Carrier to transport an Animal for any said or undisclosed reason Tail Travel will be attempted to be rectified the issue at time of lodgement. Tail Travel will attempt to contact via phone, text message or email the owner. Tail Travel will liaise with the owner to resolve the issue. Tail Travel has the right to acted against the wishes of the owner if Tail Travel deems that the purposed actions would be detrimental to the animal. Any cost associated with the change in travel plans, upgrade of crate, increase in cost of animal transport or any other unforeseen costs will charged to the owners credit card. If payment is unable to be made on the selected credit card then Tail Travel will endeavor to take payment from the owner but if terms can not be agreed then Tail Travel has the right to refuse transport of the animal and costs may be incurred to the owner for missing flight, extra kennelling, crate purchase and Tail Travel's time.
3.2 Cases involving the sedation of an Animal before the Animal comes into the possession of Tail Travel entirely excludes the following or the Transportation Carrier. If an animal is sedated before travelling, the Transport Carrier may refuse to carry such Animal. If the Transportation Carrier refuses to carry the Animal, the owner shall bear Tail Travel's costs associated with the Kennel Boarding the Animal until the Animal is approved by the Transportation Carrier for transportation to the respective destination. The owner will bear all the costs associated with Kennel Boarding or rebooking the transportation time and date. Tail Travel will not be liable for failure to provide the services during such an event.
3.3 Tail Travel will not by any means be responsible or liable for loss, damage, injury, death, disability, contraction of a disease/condition or any other damage caused to the Animal while the Animal is not our possession. The owner indemnifies Tail Travel concerning all such claims during such events.
3.4 Tail Travel will not by any means be liable for the loss, damage, injury, death, disability, contraction of a disease/condition or any other damage caused by the Animal to other persons or animals whilst the Animal is not in the possession of the owner. The owner indemnifies Tail Travel concerning all such claims during such events.
3.5 Tail Travel will by no means be responsible for the loss, damage, injury, death, disability, contraction of a disease/condition, or any other damage caused to the Animal or any other person or animal as a result of the Animal escaping from its crate, Kennel Boarding or any other location. The owner shall indemnify Tail Travel concerning all such claims during such events.
3.6 Tail Travel will by no means be responsible for the loss, damage, injury, death, disability, contraction of a disease/condition, or any other damage caused to the Animal by that Animal being crated with other animals at the direction of the owner. The owner shall indemnify Tail Travel concerning all such claims during such events.
3.7 Transportation of livestock/farming, zoological and aquarium animals will be made by special request and the conditions of this freight will be agreed by both parties before the animal is transported.
3.8 All Claims concerning the refusal by a Transportation Carrier to transport an Animal for any said or undisclosed reason.
3.8 Disputes regarding the ownership of an animal are not of Tail Travel's concern and Tail Travel is not liable for the hand over to an incorrect owner unless it is Tail Travel's fault. The Freight Service will check the name on the receivers booking and should only hand the animal to the listed person on the airway bill.
4. PAYMENTS
4.1 All Payments should be made in advance before the animal is transported, unless prior arrangements are made and confirmed in writing.
4.2 The Owner unconditionally authorises Tail Travel to deduct the cost of the Services and any related costs from the credit card details provided to Tail Travel at the time of the booking of the requested services. Tail Travel reserves the right to charge a surcharge which will be notified by Tail Travel to you from time to time, for all payments made by credit card.
4.3 Acceptable payment methods are credit card, direct deposit or bank cheque. All cheque payments must be received and cleared at least two days before the scheduled departure.
4.4 A lien will exist overall such animals until full payment has been received.
5. CARE OF ANIMALS
5.1 The Owner agrees that Tail Travel may determine whether an Animal requires emergency treatment for any condition while the Animal is in the possession of Tail Travel or any of its representatives. During such an event, Tail Travel will endeavour to contact the owner to notify he/her about the emergency and request to specify the proposed course of treatment. If the contact is not feasible, the owner irrevocably agrees that Tail Travel will be authorised to determine and approve of any necessary treatment, at the cost of the owner.
6. ACCOMMODATION FOR ANIMALS
6.1 If required, if the Animal is delivered to Tail Travel in advance of the date of travel, Tail Travel shall arrange for boarding of the Animal until the specified travel date and time.
6.2 The Owner may specify a Boarding Kennel/Cattery for the Animal, if necessary; however, Tail Travel may substitute a Boarding Kennel/Cattery if necessary, at its discretion.
6.3 The Owner shall be liable for any fees associated with the Boarding Kennel/Cattery of any Animal and agrees and irrevocably authorises Tail Travel to deduct such expenses from the owner's credit card details provided to Tail Travel while making a booking for the requested service.
7. VACCINATIONS
7.1 If vaccinations are required before transportation, Tail Travel will advise the owner of the vaccine requirement. It is a requirement of the owner to make sure all vaccinations are completed before transport is commenced.
7.2 The Owner shall arrange for the appropriate vaccinations for the Animal before the provision of the Services and delivery of the Animal to Tail Travel or shall instruct or advise Tail Travel to arrange for such vaccinations, at the owner's cost.
7.3 The Owner shall be liable for any fees associated with the required vaccination of any Animal and agrees and irrevocably authorises Tail Travel to deduct such expenses from the owner's credit card details provided to Tail Travel at the time making a booking of the requested service.
7.4 Inoculations and parasite treatments, where Tail Travel Services include accommodation of the animal that requires inoculations and parasite treatments, the owner must show valid and current inoculation certificates to us before the provision of Services. In most instances, inoculations and deworming are to be carried out at least two weeks before travel. The owner is solely responsible for ensuring that the inoculations/treatments are valid and current. Tail Travel has the right to refuse any travel of an animal where the owner is unable to provide documentation of such inoculations or vaccinations.
7.5 While inoculation/treatments are an additional step to ensure your pet's safety and comfort, not all airborne infections can be completely prevented. Hence, Tail Travel, our employees, subcontractors and agents will not be held responsible for and are released from liability in the event of an infection of your pet.
8. SEDATIVES
Tail Travel does not recommend the sedation of the animal during transport. There has been several incidents where medication prescribed by a vet has different side effects such as aggression, lowered heart rate, vomiting and diarrhea. If you believe your animal requires sedatives please make a written request to Tail Travel outlining the reasons you believe the animal should receive sedation, the proposed medication, the vet who would administer the medication and has the animal used this type of medication before. If the request to Tail Travel is granted then the medication is to be prescribed and issued by the animal's regular and registered veterinary practitioner. Tail Travel, our employees, subcontractors and agents will not be held responsible for and are released from liability for any over dosage, any side effects, or death of your pet due to the use of sedatives when used in compliance to prescribed instructions provided along with the sedative.
9. INSURANCE
We strongly recommend that you obtain travel insurance to cover the incurring costs of your pet's travel arrangements.
9.1 Your Pet is transported entirely at your risk and it is your responsibility to take out and maintain comprehensive insurance on your pet with a reputable insurer for all risks associated with travel. This also includes all costs involving illness, injury, infection, death and damage to any other animal, person or property caused by or contributed to by your pet.
9.2 Insurance for you and your animal during the provision of Services is not included in the Fee.
10. QUARANTINE
10.1 When possible, Tail Travel will advise the owner in advance as to whether there is a requirement to place any Animal, as a part of the Services, into quarantine in any state of Australia.
10.2 The Owner shall be responsible for the full costs involving the quarantine requirement. The owner agrees that he/she shall be liable to Tail Travel for the costs associated with any quarantine requirement, including Tail Travel's costs in arranging for the required quarantine.
10.3 Tail Travel shall liaise with AQIS where necessary, and all charges of AQIS concerning any Animal shall be borne by the owner. Tail Travel will issue invoices payable before the Transportation Date and Time concerning the quarantine services and will require such expenses to be prepaid by the owner. The owner may be invoiced separately or the owners credit card will be charged for ongoing quarantine costs, as incurred by Tail Travel.
10.4 Tail Travel shall provide the owner with updates concerning the health, wellbeing and location of any Animal in quarantine, including but not limited to AQIS.
10.5 The Owner acknowledges and agrees that once the Animal is under quarantine, Tail Travel is no longer responsible for the treatment of the while in quarantine as it does not form a part of the duration of Services.
10.6 The Owner agrees that in the event of quarantine being essential, the owner will agree, do, and sign all things required by the quarantine authority/provider.
10.7 Tail Travel shall not be liable for any determinations made by a quarantine authority.
10.8 The Owner discharges and indemnifies Tail Travel concerning any Claim concerning the time the Animal is in a quarantine facility and the Animal's treatment during quarantine.
11. Brachycephalic breeds and Brachycephalic Airway Obstruction Syndrome (BAOS)
Tail Travel's Policy regarding the Transport of Brachycephalic Dogs and Cats", which can be found on the website, shall be deemed to form a part of these terms & conditions if we are contracted and have agreed to transport an animal that is of a Brachycephalic breed. This policy includes but is not limited to the following conditions:
The owner, sender and receiver acknowledge that:
11.1 Their pet /s, is of a brachycephalic breed, and hence is/are at a higher risk of suffering from BAOS during transportation and that they understand that Tail Travel will only accept such animals for transport completely at the owners' risk.
11.2 It is the owners responsibility to understand the risks to their animal associated with BAOS and to properly assess the animal's condition and whether it's in a suitable condition to be transported.
11.3 As a requirement of the carrier service to transport any Brachycephalic breed animal then a specific vet check will be obtained by the owner within two weeks of the transport date. This check is a conclusive Brachycephalic breed examination that must be performed by a registered veterinary practitioner. This examination can be provided by Tail Travel.
11.4 Furthermore the Carrier Service requires a member of Tail Travel to inspect the animal and lodge the animal and to collect the animal at its destination to ascertain the animal isn't suffering or in distress.
11.5 Tail Travel require all Brachycephalic breed animals to be housed in a slightly larger than normal crate we aim to give each animal an extra 10% in crate room but sometimes may have to go larger to the next crate size up.
11.6 The animal has not previously required treatment for respiratory problems or heat stress.
11.7 The drivers at Tail Travel may refuse to accept the dog for transport if it shows signs of advanced BAOS or is obese. If a dog is not accepted for transport, Tail Travel does not have the responsibility to refund any prepaid transport fees.
11.5 In the event of extremely hot weather conditions being forecast Tail Travel has the right to postpone or cancel the transport of brachycephalic breeds. All efforts will be made to re-book this transport at a later date.
12. WEATHER
12.1 Tail Travel cannot be held responsible or liable for delays caused to the transportation of your pet(s) due to weather disturbances.
12.2 Tail Travel has instigated a Heat Policy for the movement of pets. At temperatures of 35 degrees C or more extreme caution should be used when planning flights. At temperatures of 38 degrees C or greater Tail Travel may cancel pet transportation bookings and will cancel all pet transportation bookings at concerned ports. All existing bookings will be postponed or altered were to another convenient date or time.
13. TERMINATION OF SERVICES AND AGREEMENT
13.1 Tail Travel has the right to immediately terminate the Services if the owner breaches the Terms & Conditions.
13.2 Tail Travel has the right to terminate the Services at any time where the owner does not do all things necessary in Tail Travel's opinion to ensure that the Services can be provided by Tail Travel.
13.3 The Owner has the right to terminate the Services at any time before the Animal is transported:
13.3.1 For domestic carrying: If the Owner cancels the Services 48 hours or more in advance, the owner shall be entitled to a refund of (mention percentage) of the Fee paid.
13.3.2 For domestic carrying: If the Owner cancels the Services 24 hours or less in advance, the owner shall be entitled to a refund of (mention percentage) of the Fee paid.
13.3.3 For domestic carrying: If the Owner cancels the Services within 12 hours, the owner shall not be entitled to a refund of any amount for the Fee paid.
13.3.4 All refunds will be directly deposited to clients BSB and Account Number within 5 working days or will be held as credit.
14. INDEMNITIES
The owner must keep Tail Travel indemnified at all times against any Claim whatsoever against Tail Travel by any person arising directly or indirectly concerning the provision of the Services under the Service Agreement or out of any breach of the Agreement by the owner.

15.1 The content of the Tail Travel website are provided only to provide information purposes only. 16.3 Any failure by Tail Travel to enforce any Clause in these Terms & Conditions will not be deemed to be a waiver of the enforcement of other clauses.
